May was quite rainy and resulted in little time for birding, but we still have some bird activity throughout Phuket.
This month’s photo spotlight is centered on a lovely and very photogenic little bird: the Whiskered Yuhina.
Rumor of an Oystercatcher at Laem Pakarang had me heading to the site to investigate, resulting in a haul of 33 species but no lifers, and no Oystercatcher.
Birders interested in visiting Thailand this year should seriously consider this tour, which takes between March - June.
