No birding trips or outings were undertaken in June, mostly due to an intense workload on my part. However, I managed to spend some time working to upgrade and update the website.
May was quite rainy and resulted in little time for birding, but we still have some bird activity throughout Phuket.
The wet-season pittas have arrived to breed and a number of late migrants continue to show around the region.
Pittas are the biggest attraction for the month of March and a host of winter visitors still can be found hanging around by the end of the month.

We end 2011 on a high note with a nice heap of lifers and lovely birds from all over the country. Highlights include a trip to Chiang Mai and two trips to Phang Nga.
