Photo of the month is a bird which is not only highly-sought after by birders the world over, but is one of the more difficult birds to photograph: Malaysian Rail Babbler.

The bird is terrestial and is only found in rich lowland forest. If you thought pittas were a headache to find, this bird can be refered to as the mother of all migraines. Krung Ching and Hala Bala are the only known loactions where this bird can be seen in Thailand, although most birders perfer to look for it in Malaysia’s prime lowland rainforest parks.
